September Holiday Programme

Good news, boys!

I have confirmed 2 activities during the 1-week September holiday.

Tues, 5 Sept (morning) - Visit to City Hall, Padang, Esplanade, War Memorial & St Andrew's Cathedral. Combined excursion with Cub Scouts from Admiralty Primary - their Scoutmaster is a good friend of mine! This excursion will serve as partial fulfilment of requirement for Local Historian and World Faiths Proficiency Badges.

Thu, 7 Sept (full day) - Hike at MacRitchie Reservoir Nature Reserve. Treetop Walk Bridge. Jelutong Watchtower. 11 km in jungle. 6 hours from morning to afternoon. In small groups of 4 to 6, you will be given a map and compass and left to hike one round around the Nature Reserve. But don't worry - I have arranged for some Sec 2 and 3 Scouts from Chai Chee Secondary Tiger Scouts Group to be attached to each group to guide you so that you don't get lost!

You can choose to go for one or both activities. Open to both morning and afternoon session Cub Scouts. P6s are welcome provided no Supplementary or remedial classes. And of course, your parents and guardians must allow you to go!

And yes, I'm going to ask for approval for P6 Gold Arrow Camp after PSLE. Keep your fingers crossed!
