Banner-Making Acknowledgements

OK. So we didn't make as many banners as the other Uniformed Groups. And their banners are certainly more creative and colourful. But we did the tying and hanging of ALL the banners. That's something to be proud of.

A big Thank You goes out especially to Daniel, Gerald and Derrick for coming back (on their own accord!) on Saturday morning to help. Chio and Feng Yuan chipped in after they finished their Maths Supplementary lessons. Feng Yuan deserves special mention for touching up and fixing our banners on Wednesday afternoon since the other boys couldn't stay back that day.

Thanks also to Wenjun (for taking initiative to buy the spray paint) and the other P6s - Nathaniel, Jerrell & Zhixuan. I know you are all busy with PSLE preparation so I really appreciate your taking time off to come down for this banner-making project.

As for P4s, your enthuasism throughout the entire project is unquestioned. You are always excited and willing to try new things. You have all done well considering your young age.

But one P4 Scout, in particular, really stood out. He is the main reason why half the banners are safely secured. His skill with ropes and knots surpasses even some of the P6s! He does his work quietly but with great seriousness. So, everyone, please clap for our MAN OF THE MATCH - DERRICK LIM YING SHENG!!! A special prize awaits Derrick during the next Scout Meeting. Daniel, please let your parents know about your brother's outstanding performance.

Once again, thank you all for taking part in this banner-making project. Here are more photos for you to have a good laugh at.
