Unit Award Ceremony

During our annual unit award ceremony, the following awards were given to outstanding Cub Scouts:

1) Best Patrol - Fox Patrol
2) Best Patrol Leader - Christian
3) Best Recruit - Zhuo Yao
4) Most Outstanding Sixer - Derrick
5) Most Courageous Sixer - Noel
6) Most Friendly Sixer - Christian
7) Most Loyal Sixer - Mervyn
8) Most Considerate Sixer - Aaron
9) Most Trustworthy Sixer - Chaderic

In addition, every Sixer received a plaque to recognise their years of service as a Cub Scout. Hopefully, all will continue on in Scouting in Secondary School.

And finally, 2 special Scout Salute plaques were presented to Derrick for service as SPL and Daniel for service as ASL. They are the ones who were responsible for many of our achievements and successes. Thanks once again, SPL and ASL!

Sarimbun Unit Camp 2008

Throughout the Camp, there will be a competition to select the Best Patrol, Camper, Sixer and Mentor. These are the awards available:

Best Patrol: The Patrol which shows the best teamwork and team spirit throughout the Camp will be declared the Best Patrol. Every member will receive a prize.

Best Camper: A special plaque will be awarded to the most outstanding P4 Cub Scout. He must consistently demonstrate the 5 Scout Law in action throughout the Camp.

Best Sixer: A special plaque will be awarded to the most outstanding P6 Sixer Scout. He must consistently demonstrate the 5 Scout Law in action throughout the Camp.

Best Mentor: A special plaque will be awarded to the most inspirational and encouraging Mentor who can successfully guide and motivate the younger boys in his Patrol.

Do take note that the winners of the individual awards may not necessarily belong to the Best Patrol.
