3rd Cubs Goodwill Camporee
22-28 November 2007

In conjunction with the 100th Years of Scouting, the Singapore Scout Association and Scouts of Western Australia will be jointly organising a Cub Scout Goodwill Camporee from 22 November 2007 (Thu) to 28 November 2007 (Wed) in Perth, Western Australia.

Theme: "One Promise, One World"

Objectives:

* To hold joint outdoor scouting activities with the Australian Cub Scouts.

* To promote awareness on the Conservation of the Environment through field work in soil erosion and rock formation.

* To create opportunities for International Scouting, which include different nationalities, cultures, religions and activities through exchange of ideas and friendship.

Dates: 22 November 2007 (Thu) to 28 November 2007 (Wed)

Duration: 7 Days 6 Nights

Fees: Estimated at S$950.00 (Before unit & school subsidy)

Closing Date: Saturday, 7 July 2007

Maximum Intake: 100 persons

Highlights:

* Joint activities with Perth Cubs Pack Groups including camping, nature walking, confidence course, archery, aerial runway, campfire and trekking in the woods.

* Learn about Conservation of the Environment.

* Educational visits to WA Outback and staying at wild life farms

* Visit to the city of Perth and Fremantle, Gravity Discovery Centre, etc.

* Visit to the Scouts of WA, Scout Shop, Cubs Pack Group, etc.

* Tiger Airway Return air-tickets (SIN/PER/SIN)

* Departure from SIN: 22 Nov 07 (1550hrs) & Arrival from PER on 28 Nov 07 (0250hrs)

* Airport Security and airport taxes (Australia)

* Group Comprehensive Insurance coverage

* Fees include dormitory accommodations, camp fees, meals and transportations arrangement during programme.

* Vegetarian and Halal food provided for applicants with religious beliefs/health diets.

* All participants need to attend a 1-day Compulsory Briefing Session.
